It was a wonderful evening for the The Photography Movement on the 10th October, World Mental Health Day – seeing the students of London Academy of Excellence Tottenham coming in to see their images on display at the Exposure Gallery.

The exhibition ‘How does it feel to be a teenager in the modern world’, is the result of a The Photography Movement workshop series, in conjunction with our team of professional photographers and therapeutic photography experts.

The winning image by Valerie Kporye-Gyamfi is such a stunning portrait and a huge thank you to our partner Canon, who awarded her with a fabulous DSLR camera. A big congratulations also to our runners up, Kaziah Malungu and Yasmine Goumri, as well as to all the LAET participants for their incredible work.

All of the images exhibited are available for purchase with proceeds going to our charity partner, YoungMinds – please visit and we thank you for your generosity.

This is the first of The Photography Movement exhibition series at the Exposure Gallery, Little Portland Street, London. From now until December 13th, The Photography Movement will be showcasing a varied selection of work from leading photographers, promoting the benefits of using photography to support mental wellbeing, as well as raising awareness and funds for our charity partners. We hope to see you there.
